AGI continues to distribute across Europe the engineering thermoplastics you already know and trust — Lexan, Cycoloy, Valox and Cycolac — now under a new brand, NexPoint Materials, following the completion of Mutares’ acquisition of SABIC’s Engineering Thermoplastics (ETP) business in Europe and the United States.
What Changes: SABIC ETP + Mutares = NexPoint Materials
A new name has recently entered the plastics market: NexPoint. But, on closer inspection, you will continue to find the brands and materials you already know and trust.
Following the completion of Mutares’ acquisition of SABIC’s ETP business in Europe and the United States, this division now operates under the new NexPoint Materials brand.
The Brands and Materials You Already Know, Unchanged
The formulations of the materials remain exactly the same. You will continue to find them with the same quality and availability as always:
- LEXAN™ (PC)
- CYCOLOYC™ (PC/ABS)
- VALOX™ (PBT)
- CYCOLAC™ (ABS)

Teams and Production Without Interruption
Not only do the materials remain unchanged, but the teams and production facilities will also continue to operate without any changes. For you, as a procurement professional, nothing changes in the day-to-day management of your projects.
