The plastics industry is preparing for one of its most important events of the year, eagerly anticipated: Equiplast 2026, which will take place at Fira Barcelona Gran Via from 2 to 5 June 2026. In this context, AGI – Augusto Guimarães & Irmão and Guztec Polymers will participate jointly as premium partners, strengthening their position as leading technical partners within the Hromatka Group.
In this framework, their presence at stand 3C52 will take shape through an integrated proposal combining advanced materials and technology for plastics processing, designed to address the key challenges currently facing the sector: improving efficiency, driving sustainability, ensuring regulatory compliance and enhancing competitiveness.
Guztec Polymers’ innovative approach

During the exhibition, Guztec Polymers will showcase its broad portfolio of technical and engineering polymers, developed for key sectors such as automotive, energy, electronics, packaging, construction, cosmetics and consumer goods.
One of the main focuses will be the replacement of metal with engineering plastics, a key trend aligned with industrial decarbonisation goals. In addition, the following will be highlighted:
- New developments in sustainable materials
- Recycled and bio-based grades
- PFAS-free alternatives, adapted to European regulations
All of this is supported by a highly specialised technical approach, with guidance provided from material selection through to process validation, delivering real value to OEMs and processors.
Industrial-focused technology: AGI’s commitment

For its part, AGI will present at Equiplast 2026 its latest innovations in industrial equipment and solutions for plastics processing, with a strong focus on efficiency, precision and sustainability.
Key highlights include:
- The FANUC ROBOSHOT, a global benchmark in 100% electric injection moulding, known for its precision, repeatability and energy efficiency
- Automation solutions from WEMO Automation, designed to optimise production processes
- Recycling equipment from Rapid Granulator, essential for circular economy strategies
- Thermal control and monitoring systems from SISE
- Additive manufacturing solutions from Raise3D and MiniFactory
This technological combination enables AGI to deliver complete solutions, from processing through to industrial process optimisation.
A shared commitment to the future of the sector

Participation in Equiplast 2026 reinforces the commitment of AGI and Guztec Polymers – strategic partners of the Hromatka Group – to the development of a more efficient, sustainable and technologically advanced industry.
With over 60 years of experience, both companies continue to drive the sector forward in Spain and Southern Europe, aligned with European initiatives such as the Green Deal, REPowerEU and new material regulations.
