On 18 and 19 February, the 22nd International Plastics in Automotive Conference – CEP Auto 2026 will take place in Castelldefels (Barcelona), organised by the CEP – Centro Español de Plásticos.
This event, in which AGI and GUZTEC POLYMERS are participating as Silver sponsors, has established itself as one of the main meeting points for professionals in the automotive sector.
This edition will bring together OEMs, Tier suppliers, processors and technology providers – such as SABIC, SEAT, Renault, LG Chem, Rexelian, Avient, the Aragon Institute of Technology, Celanese, AIMPLAS, among others – to analyse the current and future challenges of plastic materials, in a context marked by sustainability and the evolution of European regulations following the approval of the European End-of-Life Vehicles (ELV) Regulation.

The new regulatory framework and its impact on plastic materials
This edition will place special emphasis on the update of the European End-of-Life Vehicles (ELV) Regulation and on how this new scenario is influencing the design, selection and validation of materials for automotive applications.

CEP Auto 2026 will combine technical conferences, panel discussions and networking spaces designed to encourage knowledge sharing and the creation of new collaboration opportunities among the different players in the value chain.
