The Hromatka Group (Vienna, Austria) completed the acquisition of the majority of the capital of Guzman Polymers SL (Valencia, Spain) dedicated to the distribution and commercialization of polymers for different industries.
The agreement included the international subsidiaries of Guzman Polymers (Spain, Italy and Turkey), as well as the 50% of its joint venture in Portugal, AGI – Augusto Guimarães & Irmão, Lda.
The Hromatka Group, of Austrian origin and founded in 1969, is a family business, led by its founder Hans Hromatka and his son Alexander.
With this operation, the Hromatka Group is now present in 28 European countries, has 2 own laboratories, 2 compounding plants, 20 extrusion lines, and more than 9.500 customers.
These two companies share an identical business philosophy: the focus on creating long-term value, the passion for plastics, the added value of technical materials and the services they provide to their customers, as well as the search for sustainable solutions in accordance with the current regulatory framework.
